The Prime purpose of Sports Massage Therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension, which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity.

Although, this treatment is not just for the athletic type or sports person!

Anyone can benefit including people with demanding jobs and those with emotional and postural stress may produce many characteristics to sports injuries.

Sports massage tends to be more intense with various elements of Swedish and combination of techniques involving, stretching, compression, frictions, toning and trigger point response.

Stacey will work with you aiming to prevent injury, planning a bespoke treatment to each individual whether this year you’re looking to participate on an up-coming event, a post event, or simply maintaining an active lifestyle and you would like to optimise those goals you want to receive. Either way, an assessment will be carried out during your consultation.

It is recommended that clients seeks appropriate guidance and advise from a GP, physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor prior to any massage in case of unknown underlying pathologies. 

You may also be referred onto another professional by informed consent if your therapist requires any advice or guidance if the personal expertise is up to their professional limits.

Plain carrier oils are used for this therapy only.
